A decent week for the blog - with Everton winning at 5/1 and Chris Di Marco at 28/1.

I like getting involved at quarter final stages of most competitions. If I already have a portfolio on the go for the event it's an ideal time to manage the book. If coming to it fresh the prices are very competitive, and some bookies are also managing their liabilities. So it's prices that decide my bets, not much else in such situations.

Trading didn't work out. God, it's boring. I'd rather be a part-time old-fashioned gambler than a full-time trader.
So, that's me full-circle. I'm going back to being a Saturday Gambler, and will post some good old-fashioned bets on here Saturdays and big race days, for the fun of it...
