I know you're all desperate to know how Bobby did at the dog show. Remarkably he came third in the “Most Handsome Dog” category. Which was nice, though naturally I bet win only. We're hoping it doesn't go to his head, but he did order a James Wellbeloved premium turkey sachet for dinner so the signs aren't encouraging.
A much less important contest takes place in our neck of the woods this week, and with Goodwood coming along tomorrow, let's get our Test bet out of the way now. The weather forecast is basically high english summer – sunshine and storms – and as lomg as no more than one day is lost I'd have thought the draw should be around 2/1.

At least I ended up in profit for the week – 18/21 bets but could have done without that third loser. Seem to be some tennis bets tomorrow and at least 6 possible races today – the first three at Yarmouth included. No obvious bet though.
Dont know if u are aware but Ron has pulled the plug on the Escorial site from today .Shame really there were some decent people involved ..Jonah
