A pretty miserable read is yesterday's entry, until you get down to the bottom where Firebet, La Zamora (13/1 at the off on betfair), and a Tony Hamilton treble wiped out all the misery of Ascot. The latter actually wasn't so bad for me either as I threw a few quid at Art Connosieur late on. So, all in all, a pleasing week, even if the golf bets have literally sunk without trace.
I'll skip what looks a decent race at Pontefract today. My one bet is a small bet on Tommy Haas to win his quarter at Wimbledon. He's in top form at the moment, more than can be said for Djokovic, and most the rest.
