“£500 Challenge Bet” (£1018– 4 bets inplay – accounted)
A similar shape to yesterday's miserable offerings.
Racing. Perth again and the time's here to get the novice chase bets going. Crescent Island was rated pretty highly as a hurdler – higher than anything else here – and was always thought of as a chaser. Twiston-Davies typically targets this race, and the horse gets a very useful ten pounds off both his rivals. First time out obviously but I'm still playing. We'd best dive in again on TD's runners as well, despite yesterday where to my eyes I'll admit it did look like they weren't quite finishing their races.
To cut the stake I'm playing the Tour Championship golf. The ew odds are attractive in such a small field, especially so if you take the view the Ryder Cup players will be frazzled. Our man looks ot be comingback into form.
Crescent Island £15 win at 6/4 guaranteed
Twiston Davies 15 x 50p doubles and 25p ew acc
KJ Choi £8.50 ew at 22/1
“Barking Bets” (Banked £1075/Current bank £3192)
A couple of winners yesterday keeps the fund ticking along.
Potential races today – Ponte 2:30 and 5:00.
“Snippet of the day”
“Keep on to the bus-stop
Don't stop till you're getting off.”
Still Michael Jackson's finest lyrices. Probably.
Oh - just brilliant - 6/4 into Evens as well.
