Football League Outrights

Here's the tissues: I'll do the recommendations on a separate posting.

Premiership
Chelsea 4/5
Liverpool 6/1
Man Utd 6/1
Arsenal 9/1
Spurs 33/1

I think Chelsea may not wrap it up so quickly this time. There's trading potential, either to get Liverpool and Man Utd on board early, or to lay Chelsea, with a view to riding the highs and lows.

Championship
Crystal Palace 9/1
Southampton 10/1
Preston 11/1
Birmingham 12/1
Leeds 12/1
Norwich 12/1
Wolves 20/1
Ipswich 20/1
West Brom 20/1
Coventry 20/1

Competitive as ever. If you take the view that the relegated sides have it all to do, there is potential at the front-end of the market. My figures are based around my ratings, but with a healthy tweak for managers. I'm in the camp that rates Peter Taylor, and George Burley obviously commands utmost respect. Also, as a Fulham fan, Micky Adams can do no wrong.

League 1
Nottm Forst 7/1
Bristol City 7/1
Millwall 10/1
Brentford 12/1
Huddersfield 12/1
Doncaster 12/1
Crewe 16/1
Brighton 20/1
Bradford 20/1
Gillingham 25/1
Swansea 25/1
Oldham 25/1

There's only 60 points between all of these on my ratings. By comparison the Premiership has a spread of 170, and the Championship 100. Frankly any of them can win, and I'd rather look at the ones around 12s than the market leaders.

League 2
Milton Keynes 8/1
Swindon 8/1
Hartlepool 12/1
Walsall 20/1
Grimsby 20/1
Torquay 20/1
Wrexham 20/1
Wycombe 20/1
Peterborough 20/1
The rest between 25/1 and 50/1 but all with chances.

As for League 1 there's nothing between all these on ratings. Who knows!
