York day 1:
York 2:40 – as you know I'm a fan of High Heeled's last run against the colts and if the ground is Ok, a muddling pace here may suit her. This could be the race where she is ruthlessly exposed though, so I'll stick to a threeplay, rather than get the boots on.

York 3:10 – this used to be a front runners track so it's certainly possible the Abernant form will be upheld, even if the front two got the run of the race that day. Edge Closer should live up to his name if he gets out of the stalls this time.

York 4:55 – three horses running well may sneak a fitness advantage – Topolski, typical Johnston improver; Barwell Bridge – tough and this should suit, and Tepmokea whose form with Gitano Hernando is looking pretty good now.

Edge Closer £15 win to return £200; £60 place to return £260
Toploski/Tepkomea/barwell Bridge £50 hedge to return £250
and 3 x £10 trebles High Heeled/Edge Closer with each of the other three.
