Saturday 17th May

£500 Challenge Bet” (£717)

The football bets have taken one hell of a beating the last few weeks. Disaster considering they've been carrying the fund all season.

Even so, I'll skip Newbury (Astronomer Royal looks a big price, but no pace in the race at all and anything could happen) for here and stick with the FA Cup final. Portsmouth are a big price to be honest, but that's undoubtedly based on their inability to score, especially without Defoe. That leans me towards Unders as the bet, with finals historically much lower-scoring than normal matches.

Rochdale are still pitching for us today – we bet them to qualify.

FA Cup £20 Under 2.5 goals at 4/6

Barking Bets” (Banked £200/Current bank £1301)

(Another good day yesterday – and shame I didn't make Fat Boy the challenge bet – into profit on the week.)

Todays bets

Can't find any so far. Saturdays look to be the quietest day for these bets, which is interesting should this turn out to be a long-term project – and the initial signs are encouraging.
