Well at least we broke the losing run.
York today. Bertoliver could well repeat Chester form and seems fairly priced to do so. Sprint handicaps are less and less my bag though. My derby antepost horses all clash today. Have to say I think Twice Over is short in what looks a pretty competitive event. For the challenge bet you can back Lang Shining at the same price as Twice Over. One has a number of credible opponents, the other just has to handle the ground, with all his rivals either out of form or unsuited by conditions.
I will hang fire (a) in case the course is a road, and (b) in case the layers get their boots on.
