Sunday 20th July

£500 Challenge Bet” (£820 – 4 bets inplay – accounted)

Bankable – only in name.

Golf:
Garcia – outside chance of sneaking a top 7 place.
Choi – still there but looked like the wind had finally broken his rhythm yesterday. Holding on for a place would help. (I layed out for a free bet on the place at 1.6 yesterday.)
Harrington – looks most likely and would get most our money back.
Allenby – unlikely but still in there.
Ames/Leonard – one player will go out and shoot a clubhouse score that could worry and sneak a place!

So, all is not lost...

Our final top-up consists of simply picking the two players most likely to launch an attack from afar, and hope for Norman to crumble having spent the night realising quite where he is.

Anthony Kim £4.50 at 20/1
Stenson £3 at 33/1

Today's bet though is an obvious one. And at what looks to be a loss leader of a price from the sponsors. Phil Taylor is back in town.

Phil Taylor £25 win Darts Champs at 4/5

Barking Bets” (Banked £500/Current bank £1233)
A terrible bet yesterday in a conditions 2 year old race – not at all what this fund is about. Still cross about it, and about another week getting nowhere.

    Hi Tooting,
Good work with blog keep going.
Very interesting barking bets i think you are doing well with it and will improve. Against my nature backing so short but i am looking seriously at having a go.
    All the best Matamata

Matamata here again, forgot to mention would love to ask Mr Findlay if he bet every day or what his average over a week/month is.I seem to have lots of bets with all the racing thats on and takes me hours a day to keep up with form. Not sure i would have time to follow other sports aswell.
    Cheers

  3. Hi Matamata.

Have to day it's against my nature also! Thing is my old nature is no longer profitable - there's no doubt in my mind that betfair killed "pricewise" type bets a few years ago. It's taking me too long to alter course but I think I'm getting there!
