Tuesday 22nd July

£500 Challenge Bet” (£868 – 2 bets inplay – accounted)

That cricket bet was nice and stress free.

I think I'll have another play in the darts today.

Ronnie Baxter looks to be in the form of his life at the moment with only Taylor beating him. Conversely, Andy Smith is struggling. I was going to do this as a barking bet, with 1.5 being the minimum price for the bets in this fund. But we can get 1.5 and with nothing else appealing today we may as well put it in the main fund.

Darts - Baxter £25 beat Smith 1.5+

Barking Bets” (Banked £500/Current bank £2367)

A good start for our newly increased fund (thank god). As an aside my father once worked for a boiler company in Seattle called Evans Boilers. It was going bankrupt at the time, but he dreamt of rescuing it and finally making his pile. He intended to buy a yacht on which to pootle around the Puget Sound. He was going to call it “Thank Evans”. Sadly, only the story remains.

Two winners and a void bet yesterday. I'm not sure there's a tennis bet today. Three possible races though.
  1. Racing – 3:15 Yarmouth – possibly fave with one or two others.

  2. Racing – 3:00 Salisbury – possibly front four

  3. Racing – 7:00 Bangor – possibly a match bet, if we can get 1.1
